Latent worked with Sit Stay Wash to help our client create a small business destination in Chicago’s West Loop. Their modern, self-serve spa makes bath time a breeze, with everything needed to scrub, rinse, and refresh ones pup in style.  No more splashing water all over your bathroom or chasing your pup around the house.  We worked on a fast pace schedule to keep costs low with simple achievable design goals that could be constructed in accordance with the clients proforma.

  1. 1 Initial Concept

    Our design concept was to create a bright welcoming space that holistically expanded upon the clients vision.

  2. 2 Demo Phase

    We selectively demolished as little as possible within the final space to save costs. As always the demo scope required more work than originally anticipated.

  3. 3 Design Phase

    We created a clean slate to install the washing machines with functional branded finishes in the space.

  4. 4 Final floor plan

    Our final plan simplified an existing retail space with a clean aesthetic.

  5. 5 Final Branding

    The Client let the vision for their brand from the initial meeting to the grand opening.

ACTIVATING THE STOREFRONT ON ROUTE TO MARY BARTOLME PARK WAS IMPORTANT TO BRING LEGIBLE AWARENESS TO THE NEIGHBORHOOD.
